Abstract (EN)

The discovery of phthalocyanines in optical and electronic properties, characterization as a stain, use as a sensor, digital data storage and the uncontrollable cell division leading to the death of the last century have been used to treat cancer disease has accelerated research on this substance. High complexity absorption of this complex compound is an important feature. Singlet, together with oxygen production, has played an important role in photodynamic therapy studies. The interaction of the produced singlet oxygen with the cancerous cell reveals how important the phthalocyanines are in the health field. These properties of the phthalocyanines can be improved by suitable ligands and suitable metal ions to the molecule centers. Considering these properties, it is the subject of this thesis to synthesize light-sensitive phthalocyanines which provide higher singlet oxygen production containing Zn (zinc) metal ion. For this purpose, 9 different phthalocyanine compounds were synthesized and their photophysical and photochemical properties were investigated. Solvent effect, ligand position effect and halogen effect parameters affecting these properties have also been investigated.
