Abstract (EN)
The fullerenes discovered in 1985 and started to be used since 1990, which have attracted much attention as a new research area. In addition to transistor features of fullerenes, organic electronic materials are also actively used in solar cells. Organic electronic materials are defined as carbon-based polymeric and / or small molecules. Organic materials have growing interest due to their properties such as changing of function depending on band gap, flexibility-soft-foldability, and environmentally-friendly biodegradability. In our thesis study, the pyrrolidine ring with the addition of azomethine ylide in the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction, which was attached to the fullerene molecule as an electron acceptor. Their photo-physical and chemical properties were determined and their structures were clarified with spectroscopic methods. The purpose of selecting this reaction which is single-step and single-pot, is not only to contribute to the electronic features but also to be an environmentally friendly method. The obtained structure was performed to solar cell application. Bandwidth was determined cycle voltammetry, UV-absorption and fluorescence spectrometry measurements. In thesis topic of the second study group, the aldol derivatives of the isophorone compound were synthesized and the structures were clarified by spectroscopic methods. HOMO-LUMO energies were obtained by taking electrochemical cyclic voltammetry measurements and experimental results compared with calculated results using the Gaussian 09 program. The transistor characteristics were investigated by mixing with fullerene at different ratios. The properties of physical and chemical structures have been investigated. The results obtained were compared with similar studies in the literature.
