Abstract (EN)
As it is known, Ahmet Rasim wrote on different topics and genres. However his distinctive writing style can be clearly seen through his columns on the newspapers. Existing during the last period of Ottoman Empire, Ahmet Rasim wrote for various newspapers and magazines. Some of these works were published as books by the writer and some are in the archives. The whole printed works of the writer have still been tried to bring to light and organized. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the remaining articles of Ahmet Rasim in the newspaper archives and in this way to contribute to literature history and research. For this purpose, 380 volumes of Yeni Gun (Istanbul Era) dating from 2 September 1918 to 12 April 1920 have been scanned and it has been discovered that the writer wrote on four different columns on the newspaper. 258 articles of Ahmet Rasim were attained from the related newspaper. From these articles 227 of them were published on "Eskal-I Zaman" column, 22 of them were on "Yeni Gun Icınde Eski Gunler" column, 5 of them were on "Yeni Turkiye" column, 3 articles on "Kadınlıga Dair" and 1 article was published anonymously. Ahmet Rasim used 58 of his articles from "Eskal-i Zaman" column in his book Gulup Agladiklarim, 13 articles from "Yeni Gun Icınde eski Gunler" column in his book Muharrir, Sair, Edip. The articles that were published and used by the writer in his book were transcribed into latin alphabet by the researcher herself, however considering that both they were published previously and the size of the transcriptions, these articles have been taken out of the study during the second scanning of transcription process, but publishing information of these articles on Yeni Gun is given in index part. All of these writings consisting of anecdotes and articles by Ahmet Rasim can be seen as an important source of determining the mentality of the society, social structure and cultural features of that period as well as being literature research. At that point, it is vitally important to reveal the writer's articles. Furthermore, with this study a new pseudonym of Ahmet Rasim "Aski-i Meliki (Mülki)" ,which is not mentioned in literature sources, was revealed.
