Abstract (EN)
In this study, Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes of Schiff base which were prepared by condensation of glyoxal with 2-Aminophenol and 2-Amino-4-clorophenol were synthesized. Elemental analysis (C,H,N,S), FT-IR, UV-Vis, X-Ray and 1H-NMR techniques were used for the characterization of the synthesized ligands. The prepared Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes of Schiff base were characterized by AAS, melting point, magnetic susceptibility, FT-IR, and UV-vis methods. Thermal properties of the compounds were studied by TG-DTA techniques.
