The historical improvement of Yeni Malatya sport club

Aim: Nowadays, Football teams drag millions of supporters. Football teams help to increase truism by introducing home city and country to the world as a result they provide a major contribution to the economy. Although football clubs make great contributions to the home city, it was not possible to access a written source about clubs which include the elements such as establishment period of football club, its success and failures, the current president and managers of the team. In this context, it is aimed to gather the historical development of Yeni Malatya Sport Club, which is a city team, from its foundation to these days. Material and Method: In this thesis a case study has used which is a qualitative research method. The information about Yeni Malatya Sport Club's historical process has achieved by meeting with the president, manager, coach and football players. Snowball sampling which are type of the qualitative sampling was used as the sampling type. Document analysis technique has used in data analysis. Results: In this study information such as; football in Malatya before Malatya Belediye Sport, the establishment process of Malatya Belediye Sport Club, active branches of the Club, football competition and championships, presidents, managers and coaches, and its historical process has obtained. Information about the acquisition of the name of Yeni Malatya Sport Club, Club's president, manager and technical directors, Club's effects on the city, league competitions, infrastructure and facilities has given. The obtained information about developments of the Yeni Malatya Sport Club's History has explained. Conclusion: The historical development of the Yeni Malatya Sport Club has determined gradually from its establishment to these days and the history of the club has gathered in a single source.
