Abstract (EN)
Abstract: The act of communication, which has preserved its existence throughout human history, has reached a new dimension with internet technology. New tools have been invented in every period in order to meet the communication needs of people. These tools appear today as the internet and new media. New media environments are used by individuals and institutions to achieve many goals in daily life. Social media tools are an important part of new media. The widespread use of internet technology and social media tools has eliminated the space and time problem in front of the messages. People and institutions can produce content from anywhere, anytime thanks to the new media. In this study, the development of new media was discussed, and it was tried to determine how content production in new media was carried out during the COVID-19 epidemic. For this purpose, four technology news sites broadcasting in the new media environment were determined and in-depth interviews were made with eight people working in these companies.
