Abstract (EN)
New media has an indispensable place in the lives of individuals. The new media, which offers an interactive environment, can bring individuals into both source and target audience status. To be affected and affected by the individual new media tools are becoming increasingly attractive and succed to create addiction. When we think that the impact of new media on people is so important we cannot ignore the impact on the consumption process. Consumption initially serve only to meet the needs nowadays, this meaning has been widened and comsumption has caused to a focus on pleasure-oriented shopping. İn this process new media has an important tool that serves the consumers tend to hedonic consumption. Performed this work consists of three main parts new media hedonic consumption and application. Topic of this work to investigate the effect of new media on hedonic consumption on university students. First of all first part consist of topics such as new media concept new media types,advantages and disadvantages of new media, the difference from traditional media. The second part consist of the history of hedonism, the concept of the hedonicconsumption, consumer behaviors and liteature research part of the study prepared to for applying to Sakarya University faculty of communication and solved at spss program survey study.Frequency analysis of the datas obtained,standart deviation, were calculated averages and factor analysis was applied to likert questions.
