Abstract (EN)

Stability analysis of feedback loops is a difficult issue. Today, completing the design process with trial and error methods has a large place in the design of feedback loops. Within the scope of this thesis, analysis, design and implementation of a strong mathematical method called K factor design method, which ensures stability by controlling an open loop system without the need for trial and error method, are accomplished in feedback loop design. The controlled system can be a simple or complex system. The method works the same way regardless of the structure of the system. The flow of mathematical equations allows designing the controller circuit by using the cut-off frequency and phase delay obtained from the system. The mathematical method used to calculate the controller circuit elements increases the reliability of the closed loop system. In this thesis, an analog controller design has been performed by using the K-factor design method for a novel isolated Z-source dc-dc converter with high voltage gain. The closed loop converter system created by the controller circuit provides a constant output voltage at the output of the converter although there is a step change in input voltage and load within certain limits. The theoretical study of the K-factor design method has been practiced in the study. The simulation study and experimental study has been implemented with the design, which was conducted with the theoretical study, and the results has been analyzed. The results of the simulation study and experimental study demonstrates that the controller generated with the K-factor design method controls the output voltage. As a result, it has been demonstrated that a reliable control method is created for a new generation dc-dc converter with the K-factor design method.
