Abstract (EN)
As a result of the development in technology and the rapid increase in the population ratio, the demand for energy have been increasing day by day with the continuous increase of the energy consumption. Today, as well as classical sources, new energy sources have been searched widely on the nuclear energy. In the transition stage from the traditional reactors to the next generation reactors, the criteria of the safety and protection, the sustainable economics, the design strategies, the necessities in all aspects, for the forth Generation Reactors have been determined. In the next generation systems, gas-cooled fast reactors are examined, the energy and fuel production, working principles of reactor designs studied with the accelerator driven systems (ADS) have been investigated.
