Abstract (EN)
In this research, the concept of war is discussed theoretically; and in thisscope general understanding of wars, definition of war, objectives and means of warare analyzed. General stratejies of war, which are attack, defenser and reverseoperation are reviewed. Then, different ways of achieving security that are followedin the 21. century are analyzed. Political organizations that are established forsecurity purposes since 1950s and their aims are emphasized.Finally, new war strategies that are emerged with the changing world orderare emerged with the changing world order are discussed. Especially, asymmetricwar concept which is intensivelly used in international politics since september 11 isemphasized.The concept of faceless enemy, non-state actors and battles in residential areasare examined. This study ends with a conslusion.
