Abstract (EN)

Pincer compoundsare formed by combining a primary ligand with any transition metal. When the literature studies are examined, it is seen that these compounds spread over a wide area. Pincer complexes have spread in fields such as biochemistry, electrochemistry, medicine, catalytic aand polymer industry. In these areas, the importance of various polymerization techniques, catalyst properties, microbial and cancer treatment are emphasized. In this study, from a new SNS type 2,6-pyridinedicarbonlydichloride and 4-Bromothiophenol the synthesis of the Cu (II), Ni (II), Fe(II) and Pd (II) complexes accomplished. The resultant ligand and complex thanks to 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR, UV-Vis, FT-IR spectroscopic techniques and elemental analysis, Physical properties, and other Melting Point Determination method and its possible structure has beenenlightened.
