Synonymous words and words group in New Uyghur Turkish

In this thesis, we study the synonym vocabulary in the New Uyghur Turkish and try to determine the reasons for the occurrence of synonym. The scope of our study is limited with synonyms and synonyms idioms on pages between 1-387 from Uyğur Tilidiki Menidaş Söz-İbarilir Luğiti (1993). Therefore, the synonyms that are translated to Turkey Turkish are classified in the terms of their origins, structures and naming concepts. As a result of our research, we establish the snynonyms vocabulary in New Uyghur Turkish consists of the words borrowed from foreign languages, the usage of dialect words in the standard language, euphemisms, polysemy and idioms. Also, we explain the diffirence between the meaning, the usage and the emotive value of the synonymous.
