Abstract (EN)
Paranormal phenomenon and beliefs are seen as dominant material of converted cinema in industrial sector and glamorize people today just like old days. In this thesis, religious and non-religious paranormal beliefs which are the device of allurement and affection, and their relation with cinema are handled. For this purpose, examples from American and Turkey cinema were chosen. This study aims to reveal that in which forms and density religious and non-religious paranormal phenomenons take part. When this aim comes true, it will become clearer that how religious and non-religious paranormal beliefs affect today's people.
