Abstract (EN)

In today's technology, due to global energy demand, high energy costs and increasing environmental pollution, clean energy production has accelerated the search for renewable energy sources in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption. Hydrogen is a clean, highly efficient renewable energy source that is abundant in nature. Hydrogen can replace CO2-emitting fossil fuels and respond to increasing global energy demand. Hydrogen is not a primary energy source like fossil fuels, but an energy carrier. Hydrogen can be stored in the form of molecular hydrogen in pressurized tanks, liquefied hydrogen tanks, and carbon materials. In addition, it can be stored as atomic hydrogen in metal hydrides (MH) or as hydride ions in compounds such as alanates (MAlH4) and boron hydrides (MBH4). Considering the storage and transportation problems, chemical hydrides containing alkali and alkaline earth metals are thought to be ideal hydrogen storage materials. Some of the boron hydride compounds used for the storage of hydrogen are sodium boron hydride (NaBH4), lithium boron hydride (LiBH4), potassium boron hydride (KBH4). The highest hydrogen content is LiBH4 with 37%. Among the chemical hydrides, sodium boron hydride (NaBH4) is due to its high H2 storage capacity (10.8% by weight), controllable hydrogen production rate, high purity of hydrogen produced at room temperature, excellent stability in alkaline solution, recycling capabilities, and non-toxic hydrolysis by-products. The production of hydrogen gas from NaBH4 only in the presence of a suitable catalyst is an important problem in this field. In this thesis, the catalytic activities of Co-Mo-B catalysts supported by mushroom biomass in the hydrolysis of sodium borohydride (SBH) were investigated comparatively by using different parameters. As a result, the effect of all synthesized catalysts on the hydrogen production of sodium borohydride; investigated at different temperatures, different NaOH concentrations, different sodium boro hydride concentrations and different catalyst amounts.
