Abstract (EN)
Sustainable energy has a large share in the economic, social, and environmental perspective both to meet the needs of the modern world and to use energy resources effectively and efficiently at all stages from production to consumption. Smart transportation systems, smart cities, smart grids are some of the important topics of efforts towards sustainable development in energy. The increase in demand for electricity in the world has made energy optimization techniques absolutely necessary. Energy optimization can be defined as whether electricity is used or not for the benefit of human beings and the environment. The methods used for energy optimization are automation systems, real-time monitoring systems, smart measurement systems, smart industrial equipment, optimum operational management, generation planning and energy management system. The energy management system provides productive consumers with a wide range of services from a variety of options. Determining cost-effective energy mixing ratios by evaluating the power and unit price of energy resources is among its primary functions. In this thesis, the artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) has been applied to find the rate at which energy resources should be used to ensure low-cost energy use of the multi-source microgrid system containing RES. The obtained results showed that the ABC algorithm can provide low-cost energy mixing for the energy management of multi-source microgrids with RES within the dynamic energy price fluctuations of the grid. In addition, to improve the convergence performance of the ABC algorithm to the optimal result, the hybrid ABC-PSO algorithm which is a combination of the PSO algorithm has been applied. Thus, cost efficiency has achieved without affecting the comfort conditions of the users and without compromising the quality of energy production, by maintaining the energy balance and taking into account the variable electricity tariffs.
