Abstract (EN)

It is accepted that incentives for the use of renewable energy have positive results on the development level of countries. This study includes evaluations to analyse the financial incentive policies provided for renewable energy resources in E7 countries with high development rates and Turkey, an E7 country. With the risk of depletion of fossil resources and the increase in energy demand, countries have turned towards renewable energy sources, which are energy sources that are not at risk of depletion, do not harm the environment and can be transformed. In order for developing countries to be able to meet their energy needs from local energy resources without being dependent on foreign sources, the use of these resources and the installation of new facilities should be increased by the state. The government can use fiscal incentive policy, which is one of the fiscal policy instruments, to encourage investment in this field. In this context, in this study, fiscal incentive policies for renewable energy resources in E7 countries and Turkey, which is an E7 country, were determined and macroeconomic data of the countries were determined in accordance with the objectives of the incentive policy. Even though their development levels are similar, similar practices as well as different practices have been observed in the fiscal incentive policies provided for renewable energy resources in E7 countries. Based on these differences, it is suggested that E7 countries should take the fiscal incentive policies that are economically, socially, socially and geographically appropriate for them as an example and put them into practice in their own countries by making similar or modifications. This is an important issue since it involves the environment, which is a global public good, and future generations, and it concerns the whole world.
