Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to address the current energy crisis, which is represented by fossil fuels and the increasing rise in fuel prices, as well as the unequal distribution of energy sources, which makes some people unable to use it, as well as some countries that still use traditional sources. As a result, a safe and environmentally friendly alternative fuel must be discovered at a low cost and widely available to ensure that everyone has access to it. It was found that hydrogen is an effective and safe element in the use of energy, as it is considered the least harmful element to the environment. It is known that hydrogen does not exist freely in nature, and it can be obtained in many and many ways, but some methods are unsafe. In this research, a simulation of the production of green hydrogen using solar energy was done by MATLAB and by using the electrolysis device for the water generated from the photovoltaic cell. Then the hydrogen produced was stored in special tanks to be used at a later time, in addition to the use of each of the PID control units, which increased the efficiency of the system with the forward MPPT algorithm to obtain the maximum amount of solar energy contained in the photovoltaic cell.
