Abstract (EN)
Energy, which is of great importance for humanity, has become an indispensable criterion for countries with the industrial revolution. For energy to be so important, energy supply and demand are of great importance. Demand for energy: It is constantly increasing depending on factors such as income, population, industrialization and technological advances. Fossil energy resources, whose reserves are limited, are decreasing. In addition, CO2 emissions released into nature due to the use of fossil energy sources cause irreversible damage to the ecological system. In the light of these reasons, the use of renewable energy resources should be encouraged for the continuity of sustainable development. The aim of the study is to examine the renewable energy resources potential of Turkey, what the policies for the development of renewable energy resources are, to observe the contribution of the implemented renewable energy policies to the country in terms of sustainable growth, and to investigate the willingness of consumers to pay for renewable energy. Among the variables in the regression model; It has been determined that as the education level of the individual increases, the willingness to pay extra increases. While a positive relationship was found between the individual's being a tradesman and his willingness to pay extra, a negative relationship was found between the retirement of the individual and his willingness to pay extra.
