Abstract (EN)

Underground mining operations have an important role today in both meeting energy needs and providing mineral resources needed for industrial applications. In these enterprises, heavy work machines enable great gains in physical strength, production and time by making it easier to carry out operations that have significant dangers and risks in basic production activities such as mining and transportation, where manpower is insufficient, and thus create a safe and productive working environment. It has an impact. For this reason, heavy duty machines are widely used in underground mining operations. However, the use of these heavy-duty machines also brings with it some negative situations. These work machines, especially used in underground works, may cause their operators and their surroundings to be exposed to vibration and noise. Vibration and noise, which are a type of physical risk factors, can affect the health and safety of operators working in underground mining operations and other people around the business. Operators may encounter health problems such as musculoskeletal problems and/or circulatory disorders due to long-term vibration exposure, and they may be exposed to a number of negative health problems such as hearing loss, auditory disturbance, insomnia and stress due to high noise exposure. The aim of this study is to systematically investigate and evaluate the effects of vibration and noise exposure on operators and other employees in the work area. In this context, vibration and noise analyzes of heavy-duty machines used in underground mining operations for the operator and their environment are evaluated with L-Type Matrix, Fine Kinney and Fault Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), which are occupational health and safety risk analysis methods, and contribute to the studies in the literature and provide solutions and recommendations. is expected.
