Abstract (EN)

Conflict is considered as a part of social life. Especially in business environments requiring group work, conflict is inevitable. Non-existence of conflict may even create a negative effect in the group. The society which conflict does not exist is unhealthy and these societies are not open to development and innovation. If conflict is unavoidable, the necessary step to take is to use conflict results as an advantage and opportunity to prevent its destructive results. The conflict of organization emerges from indivudual's and group's problems that are about working with together. This causes to become confused or stop normal activities. During the history; people faced with conflicts in which were both social structure and formal structure. Shortly in every situation. For this reason ;conflict concerned about lots of diciplines. The concept of conflict was taken into consideration at science frame and was examined on level of industry organization. In this study, the concept of "conflict" was handled in the framework of methodology and examined in all the levels of business (organizations). The purpose of thesis are to determine the causes of conflict that personnel engaged in with each other and conflict management styles that are utilized by them during conflict period, whether causes of conflict and conflict management styles were differed according to demographic factors and whether the relationship between these causes of conflict and conflict management styles is available. A survey has been carried out in an effort to identify positive and negative effects of conflict to local governments in Malatya Metropolitan Municipality. At the result of manager's and employes's survey which I managed one bye one, conflict, conflict's reason and conflict management solution's to be discovered.
