Conflict management in local governments

Conflict is considered as a part of social life. Conflict management aims to reach pozitive results for personal and organizational development and to prevent negative results. The society which conflict does not exist is unhealthy and these societies are not open to development and innovation.If conflict is unavoidable, the necessary step to take is to use conflict results as an advantage and opportunity to prevent its destructive results. In this study, the concept of "conflict" was handled in the framework of methodology and examined in all the levels of business (organizations). The purpose of thesis are to determine the causes of conflict that personnel engaged in with each other and conflict management styles that are utilized by them during conflict period, whether causes of conflict and conflict management styles were differed according to demographic factors and whether the relationship between these causes of conflict and conflict management styles is available.
