Investigation of the factors directing human resources motivation in local governments and a research in local govenrments

Local governments are institutions organized as special provincial administrations, village administrations, municipalities and metropolitan municipalities according to their responsibilities. These institutions are responsible for the health, sports, shelter, cleaning, environmental order, housing, nature protection, culture, art, tourism, construction and repair of primary and secondary education institutions, emergency aid, rescue services, announcement of services for citizens living within the borders of the province, district, village they are responsible for. , meeting the needs of the people, creating security and unity, supporting students and clubs, making urban traffic regulations, issuing licenses, planning transportation and public transportation services, making social area facilities, making plans for natural disasters, etc. organizations with a mission. In addition to providing the necessary physical and economic conditions for local governments to perform at the desired efficiency, the efficient use of these instruments by human resources is directly related to their motivation. From this point of view, the aim of the study is; The aim is to determine the efficient work of the personnel working in local governments by measuring their motivation levels. In this study, the structures and functioning of local governments, human resources and management, motivation and motivation-productivity relationship theories were examined theoretically. Based on these theoretical researches, a survey study examining the factors affecting human resources motivation in local governments was included.
