The evaluation of sowing performance of the domestic manufactured pneumatic grain seed drill

In this study, three different seed varieties (wheat 20 kg/da, barley 16 kg/da and barley-vetch mixture 18 kg/da), three different air speed (17 m/s, 21 m/s and 25 m/s), two different vertical transmission pipes (bellows casting and galvanized pipe) and two different materials of the distributor head (casting and hard transparent plastic) are used. By using these materials and data, the seed distribution evenness between rows and feet and possible damages in seeds were determined and the effects of these parameters on seed distribution uniformity and damage were determined in laboratory and field conditions. As a result of the studies, the lowest coefficient of variation for barley seed (5.2% sufficient group) of KB-PK (Bellows pipe-Plastic cover), the lowest coefficient of variation (4.9 - 5.9%) for wheat germ In KB-PK and KB-DK (Bellows pipe-Casting cover), the lowest coefficient of variation (medium group with 4.0%) in barley-vetch mixture was obtained in KB-PK. All results were in the insufficient (VK> 6.3%) group in the distribution between the feet by using GB-DK (Galvanized pipe-Casting cover) and GB-PK (Galvanized pipe-Plastic cover). The majority of the experiments were over 72%, in other words, very good group in terms of goodness (sum of the ratios of 1,2 and 3 seed strips) in all material combinations and applied three different air velocities in the on-row distribution uniformity study. Especially in KB-PK application, all goodness criteria values were found over 72% at all three speeds and they were in the very good group. In order to achieve uniformity, the majority of the tests are well above 72%. In terms of variation factor, in KB-PK application, all trials are suitable for normal rowing except barley at 17 m / s air speed and wheat at 21 m / s air speed. The gaps and clusters were mostly formed in KB-DK application, whereas in galvanized pipes, it was determined that the tendency towards single grain sowing character was especially with plastic cover.
