Analysis of local and foreing animated films in terms of socio-cultural and technological aspects

Animated films are one of the rapidly growing and developing film sectors in the world. These developments in the sector develop themselves depending on the developments in the field of technology. The animation industry, which has developed and changed in recent years, constitutes an important market area of the cinema industry. In this research, the origin and meaning of the word animation are included from many sources and the historical development of animated films in the world and in Turkey is discussed chronologically. In this context, extensive literature research and film studies on the subject are included. In the study, 10 animated films released in Europe and 10 animated films released in Turkey were compared in terms of socio-cultural and technological aspects. In the research, the opinions of 6 field experts and 5 psychologists were consulted and the minimum wage income table was analyzed according to OECD countries. As a result, according to field experts, we can say that the animation industry has developed in countries that are socio-culturally and technologically developed. In line with the results obtained in the research, suggestions were made for this research and the development of the animation industry.
