Impact of green human resources management on organizational citizenship behavior

Abstract (EN)

We see that resources are consumed very quickly as a result of the evaluation of scarce resources and needs as infinite and unlimited, which is defined as an economic problem. As a result, it has created an environmental consciousness in society and businesses and has enabled businesses to make many green initiatives such as green human resources management. This research, which was conducted to determine the effect of green human resources management practices on Organisational Citizenship Behaviours among employees in the workplace, collected data from white-collar employees working in the porcelain and ceramic sector by survey method. 192 questionnaire forms were evaluated. The data obtained after the application were transferred to IBM SPSS 29.0 statistical package programme and subjected to various statistical analyses in accordance with the purpose of the research. Demographic t-tests, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analyses were conducted. According to the results obtained in the study, a significant and positive relationship was found between green human resource management and organisational citizenship behaviour. A significant and positive relationship was found between green human resources management practices and organisational citizenship sub-dimensions of conscientiousness, chivalry and civic virtue, and a significant negative relationship was found with the sub-dimension of altruism. However, there was no effect of employees on the courtesy dimension, which is a sub-dimension of OCB, with Green HRM.
