The effect of green logistics practices and green transformational leadership on environmentally-responsible business performance: A field research in accommodation businesses

In today's conditions, where environmental problems increase day by day, the importance of environmental policies increases. As in all sectors of business life, the contribution of ecological practices to business performance is also important for accommodation businesses. Green logistics practices and green transformative leadership also have a great impact in this process. In this context, in the study, the possible effects of the adoption and implementation of the green leadership approach on the environmentally friendly performance of businesses were examined in the context of the literature. In addition, the study aimed to reveal whether green transformational leadership has a mediating role in the effect of green logistics practices on environmentally friendly business performance. In the first three parts of the research, an in-depth literature review was conducted and the information obtained was compiled clearly. The fourth section is the section that deals with the research methodology and research analysis. In the field research, the data obtained from the employees of the accommodation establishments through the sampling method was subjected to various analyzes using SPSS, Process Macro and JASP applications. The findings obtained because of the analysis reveal that green transformational leadership plays a positive and significant mediating role in the effect of green logistics practices on environmentally friendly business performance. This research provides guidance for possible activities that can be taken to increase the environmentally friendly business performance of accommodation establishments and provides significant environmental tips for accommodation establishments.
