The sense of green hotels on tourists and environment example of Muğla province

Because of corruption of ecological and reduction of natural resources it has affected on increasing numbers in environment sensible people. Green Star Hotels that has major role in development of tourism in Turkey is rapidly growing and they are keep protecting their own actuality. Environment sensitive action plan obligated by Ministry of Culture and Tourism that Green Star Hotels has to apply has changed form of hotel managements. Fundamental aim of my this Project is determined as to making society and businesses sensitive in environment. To make a contribution to the literature, in this phd thesis; the sense of the performance Green Star Hotels on tourists and the environment was dealt. In Muğla area, 15 hotel which has Green Star certificate that Works under control of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism supported this work. 617 survey were reached after the survey application was made to the tourists staying in these hotels. In this research face to face poll research technique was used as data collection tool. Survey forms via having taken online permission from hotels managements and under their control and governance, having been filled to tourists, was sent back with gathered Cargo. In this direction, Statical Analysis Methods such as explanatory Factor Analysis, Reliability Factor Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Corerelation Analysis, Chi-Square Test, and Multiple Group Analysis were used. At the conclusion of the research it is dedected that foreign tourists sense on Green Star Hotels are more conscious than the local tourists.
