Abstract (EN)

The development of the technology and globalization made it necessary for companies to adapt to the increasing competition conditions. As the sales prices are taking shape according to the market conditions, it is a big plus for the companies to produce a product at the same standard with low cost. At this point, the importance of the supply chain, which includes many activities that do not add value to the product, is revealed and the right management of it becomes significant. Another issue that comes up with the increasing number of enterprises and the technological advancement is environmental pollution. Models to reduce environmental pollution have started to appear frequently in supply chains. Supply chains consists of many elements in different echelons from the acquisition of the raw material to the delivery to the end user. The Stackelberg game, which includes the first decision-maker who is called "leader" and the other players who are called "followers" and who are required to adapt to leader's decision, is suitable for applying to the supply chains due to this multistage structure. In this study, a Stackelberg game is designed in which a manufacturer is the leader and a supplier is the follower. While the goal of the game for the manufacturer is to reach the optimum sales price and environmental cost, the goal of the game for the supplier is to reach optimum lot size and raw material sales price. The results are analyzed by design of experiments (DOE).
