Abstract (EN)

Abstract: In a multicultural organizational environment, diversity has become a common phenomenon that impacts many business and human resource disciplines. As one of the core practices in human resources, talent management is one of those disciplines, which are potentially affected by the practices adopted for diversity management. Moreover, the competitive environment of businesses globally drove organizations to seek uniqueness and advantage through empowering innovation and employee entrepreneurship (intrapreneurship), which are concepts that were found to be affected by organizational and human resource practices. The main aim of this thesis is to study the relationship between each of the concepts of diversity management and talent management on enhancing the organization's ability for internal entrepreneurship and innovation based on a statistical analysis of the main concepts and their sub-dimensions. Empirical research was performed through the current research, where reliable scales were constructed for the four concepts: diversity management, talent management, intrapreneurship, and innovation, forming the questionnaire tool used for data collection. A total of 430 valid questionnaires were collected from subjects in Turkey and Libya. The factor analysis of the scales, in addition to the reliability analysis, confirmed the strong interrelations between the scale indicators and the adequacy of the sample collected. Data did not have normal distributions according to the normality analysis. The correlational analysis between the variables showed a positive and moderate correlations between the four variables, while the relationship between talent management and innovation was found as a positive strong relationship. The one-way ANOVA analysis showed an impact of gender on the results of talent management and intrapreneurship and an impact of age on all variables, except talent management, at the p < 0.05 level. The education levels of the participants were found to only impacting diversity management, while job positions were found to impact all variables. The seniority of the participants affected the results of all variables except innovation, while the number of employees of the organization was found to impact all variables. The regression analysis showed a positive and moderate impact of all variables on the specific indicators of other counterpart concepts, while the strongest impact was found between the indicators of talent management and innovation. The findings of the research confirm the significance of diversity management and talent management on driving innovation and intrapreneurship in the organization, and vice versa. Key Words: Diversity Management, Talent Management, Intrapreneurship, Innovation.
