Electrical properties of YMnO3 and YCoO3 ferroelectric material based Si photodiode

Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, Y1-xSrxCoO3 and Y1-xSrxMnO3 samples were prepared by sol-gel method. The stuctrual properties of Y1-xSrxCoO3 andY1-xSrxMnO3 samples were analyzed using FTIR spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. Electrical and photoresponse properties of the diodes were investigated by I-V,I-t and C-G-V measurements. The prepared diodes exhibited a photodiode behaviour. The photoresponse properties of Al/p-Si/Y1-xSrxMnO3/Au are better than that of Al/p-Si/Y1-xSrxCoO3/Au diodes. The obtanied results indicate that Al/p-Si/Y1-xSrxMnO3/Au and Al/p-Si/Y1-xSrxCoO3/Au diodes can be as well as a photodiode in optoelectronic applications.
