Abstract (EN)
This research has been performed for descriptive purpose for assessing use of hemodynamic monitorization (HDM) in care by nurses working in intensive care units, which is one of intensive care technologies and factors influencing it.Sample of the research have been 91 nurses, who work in intensive care units of hospitals within the boundaries of municipality of Ankara province where HDM technologies are being used and who accepted to participate the research voluntarily.Question forms have been used for data collection tool. Percent calculation, chi-square, fisher?s exact test have been evaluated statistically by SPSS 11.0 program for evaluating data.It has been determined that similar HDM technologies are being used in intensive care units with adequate donanım for the aspect of HDM technologies. Increase of total working time of nurses, increase of total working hours in an intensive care unit and gaining knowledge towards HDM technologies have increased use of parameters in patient care. It has been determined that work of nurses in a unit/clinic other than intensive care unit has decreased difficulties experienced.In line with results obtained from the research, recommendations were made towards use of HDM technologies and 121 parameters; creating and use of procedures, assessing responsibilities of team in the intensive care unit and monitorization requirements of patients, selection of technologies that are applied by less invasive methods, converting language of technologies into Turkish language prior to purchasing and preparing user manuals, consultancy/guidance of experienced nurses with adequate knowledge for newly employed nurses in the unit, arranging regular in-service training for participation of nurses and participation of all nurses in these trainings..Keywords: Hemodynamic monitorization, use in nursing care,
