Abstract (EN)
Poverty fact continues to be a humanity problem which increasingly gets deeper and becomes widespread with globalization. Consequently, neoliberal process which defines people with consumption and outstandings discourse of this process describes ?what is poverty?? on the media product. This study which evaluates representation of poverty in media -especially Hürriyet Newspaper news- purpose to show that the media how set up and produce social power/potency in news about poverty.
