As an alternative policy microcredit in struggling poverty and applications in Turkey

After the notions such as global competititon, neoliberalism and so on comes into the life of individuals, with the development technology, poverty becomes the part of the daily life. On this basis, nations, nongovernmental organizations, voluntary associations and organizations tried to find a solution to poverty. As a result of this, microcredit arises as an alternative policy in struggling with poverty. In this study, poverty is considered on the perspective of microcredit which is a tool of microfinance. In the study it is showed that how microcredit is applied around some countries in the world; also because of the main subject of the study, the microcredit applications in Turkey is examined. Consequently, it shows up that the microcredit applications in Turkey is successful and to sustain these successes the imperfections in social, political, legal, economic and fiscal fields are necessary to arrange.
