Abstract (EN)
Recent techniques and practices in road lighting installation implementations are examined in detail in the present study. In this study, it was tried to achieve the optimum solutions for the road illumination installation designs with a computer program. In order to reach the optimum solution in road illumination designs, necessary technical and economical criteria were examined and these criteria were analyzed. Selecting a model road and considering fifteen sample lighting fixtures, lighting calculations are made for tens of thousands of variations derived from changing the values of lighting and fixture parameters. As a result of these calculations, technically appropriate solutions are found. To find the most economical appropriate solution within the mentioned appropriate solutions, the cost of total appropriate solutions at the end of a decade, has been taken into consideration.
