Abstract (EN)

The industrial revolution, one of the greatest turning points in human history, has caused important developments in the agricultural sector as well as in all sectors. However, the direct or indirect adverse effects of this process should not be overlooked. In the developing world, all kinds of waste such as fossil fuels, exhaust wastes, consumption wastes in everyday life, industrial wastes, agricultural chemicals, fertilizers and uncontrolled use of inputs are negatively affecting the ecological system. This study was carried out with the aim of determining the accumulation of heavy metals in Zivzik pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) grown in Pirinçli and Kapili villages of Sirvan district in Siirt province. In the study; leaf and fruit samples taken from the trees at 0, 50, 100 m distance to the highway were examined. At the end of the study, it was determined whether the research areas were affected by environmental pollution from the roadside to the inner zone, and the possible interaction was determined in the studied samples. Respectively for Co, Ni, Cd, Pb and Cr the lowest and highest values obtained for the analyzes are, while according to fruit analysis results of Pirinçli village; 0,082-0,238 mg kg-1, 1,160-1,559 mg kg-1, 0,087-0,179 mg kg-1, 0,326-0,449 mg kg-1 and 0,606-1,054 mg kg-1, also according to the results of the fruit analysis of Kapılı; 0.191-0.227 mg kg-1, 2.160-3.547 mg kg-1, 0.051-0.114 mg kg-1, 0.535-0.749 mg kg-1 and 1.444-2.017 mg kg-1. While according to Pirinçli village leaf analysis results are; 0,191-0,227 mg kg-1, 2,201-3,547 mg kg-1, 0,051-0,098 mg kg-1, 0,535-0,749 mg kg-1and 1,444-2,017 mg kg-1, according to Kapılı village leaf analysis results are have been detected as; 0,213-0,217 mg kg-1, 2,160-2,511 mg kg-1, 0,058-0,114 mg kg-1, 0,579-0,676 mg kg-1and 1,688-1,518 mg kg-1. While according to fruit analysis results; The values of Co, Ni, Cr elements were found to be at statistically significant levels in the Pirinçli village, according to the leaf analysis, only the Ni value was found at a significant level. In the Kapılı village, the value of the elements in both analyzes was not found at a statistically significant level.
