The rapid development of conditions in today's business life increases the interaction of individuals working in organization-based structures such as service organizations. In this interaction, the relationship between the manager and the employee stands out, and it is a condition that must be considered since it affects the employee's job satisfaction levels and organizational commitment. Based on the fact that employees with high job satisfaction levels and commitment to their organizations will contribute to the goals and objectives of the organization, this research aims to reveal the effect of the perceived behavior types of managers in the health sector on employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study was carried out using the quantitative research method. The universe of the study consists of health professionals working in Kırşehir Provincial Health Directorate and its affiliated institutions in 2021. Within the scope of the study, the data were collected through face-to-face survey techniques with the participants. In this context, the research was carried out on 359 employees who agreed to participate in our study. Independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation, and multiple linear regression analysis were applied respectively on the collected data while using SPSS 26.00 package program. According to the research findings, it was determined that there is a positive and highly significant (r= 0.689; p<0.05) relationship between job satisfaction and democratic managerial behaviors, which is one of the sub-dimensions of managerial behavior. Also, it was observed that there is a moderately negative and statistically significant (r= -0.472; p<0.05) relationship between the irrelevant manager behavior sub-dimension and employee job satisfaction. It was observed that there was a positive and weak but significant (r= 0.153; p<0.05) relationship between organizational commitment and democratic managerial behavior, which is one of the sub-dimensions of managerial behavior. In addition, it was found that managerial behaviors were the determinant of 42.1% of internal satisfaction, which is one of the sub-components of job satisfaction, and determinant of 48.4% of external satisfaction.
