Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the views of administrators, teachers and students about HEMBA, focusing on the Public Education Centres Information Network (PECIN) in Turkey. In the study, 6 administrators, 6 teachers working in 6 different public education centres and 6 students participating in HEMBA courses were interviewed. In this study, which was conducted using qualitative research method, the experiences and opinions of the participants about HEMBA were analysed in detail. The research findings reveal that students are generally satisfied with the HEMBA courses, but they think that the number and content of the courses should be increased. In addition, technical problems and internet connection problems are among the main problems encountered by students. Teachers, on the other hand, found the quality of the teaching materials offered by HEMBA to be high, but stated that interaction opportunities and feedback systems should be improved. Teachers also pointed out that increasing their responsibilities and authorities on the platform would provide a more effective education process. Administrators evaluated HEMBA as an effective platform but emphasised the importance of increasing the number of courses and modules and making the content more comprehensive. Strengthening the technical infrastructure and increasing promotional activities are also among the areas of improvement suggested by the administrators. This research aims to identify the current status of HEMBA and the areas that need to be developed for the needs of users and to provide suggestions to increase the effectiveness of knowledge-based applications in the field of public education.
