Investigating the business ethic approaches of managers: aA application in kütahya organize sanayi bölgesi

To make the notion `ethic? clear, the features, the subjects, and the principles of it have been tried to be explained. Ethical problems, which are derived from the benefit clashes in the levels of individual-organizational, individual-social, and organizationalsocial, have been held to define the problems of business ethic. Behavioural principles, appropriate to management ethic have been investigated; considering justice and equality, honesty and clearness, impartiality, responsibility , loyalty to the human rights and the institution, establishing positive human relationships and remunerating, using the sources effectively by means of thriftiness. A questionnaire, which was prepared by the thesis?s owner and a face-to-face conversation, was applied in methodology. Data was collected to investigate if 43 inferior, mid and superior managers of the companies in `Kütahya Organize Sanayi Bölgesi? carry out their tasks about ethic. In the questionnaire, the managers? ethical responsibilities to the shareholders, employees, financers, suppliers, clients and the ecological balance were analyzed and the findings were examined. After the analysis and evaluations done, it is stated that the managers have sufficient care on their ethic responsibilities about the internal and external factors. However, they have some weaknesses in fulfilling the responsibilities toward the ecological balances, especially in environment tests and environmental management. Beside it is stated that managers implement their responsibilities to their employees, shareholders, financers, suppliers and clients in a great manner. Advices were done for the points which were weak.
