The economi̇c and social contributions of the manager on proffessional development of teachers

Nowadays the rapid developments on the field of technology has shown itself on education programmes and education technologies as well. Now teachers intend to lead the individuals that aim to reach the information and learn by experience rather than teaching information and skills. The development of societies depens on improved man power. Raising the students well depends on the quality of the teacher's teaching style. The teachers should be educated well and the education they have should be qualified so that they teach well. This research which is made on developments of teaching profession shows that professional improvement is a must in order to carry out the task successfully in today's conditions of the profession and raise the quality of the education. In other words, professıonal development is a period that is seen as the tool of the reforms in the whole world. The purpose of this research is identifying the economic and social contribitions of the managers on proffessional development of teachers and making suggestions in this direction.This part of the research consists of the problem status, the problem sentence, the sub-problems, the purpose, the importance of the research, the premises, the limitations and th definitions. In the second part, the kind of economic and social contributions that the school managers can make is mentioned after giving place to the terms about the management, the management processes and styles, the education, the school managements,the school manager, the teacher, the school and the proffessionaldevelopmen. In the third part, the methodology, and in the forth part the f,nding take place. Finally, in the fifth part, discussions, the result and the suggestons take place within the reached findings. The research is designed quantiatively and relational screening model is used as the screening model.
