CRM and SCM applications in management information systems

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is a type of software that lets people arrange their communication information and improve their relations with available and potential contacts. Supply Chain Management (SCM) system is a type of software for controlling the influx of the products and services and involves all operations that convert unrefined supplies into finalized goods. There are many types of CRM and SCM software. In addition, CRM and SCM systems have many advantages and disadvantages. CRM and SCM systems have a remarkable effect on social media, and can affect them either positively or negatively. Certain features of social media platforms have progressed rapidly, while others have lagged behind in comparison. If the progress in social media platforms can be improved, the number of their users can be significantly increased. Social media is potentially dangerous for children under the age of 13, due to the large amount of inappropriate content which are being shared by irresponsible users. Such content may have adverse effects on the psychological development of children and adolescents. Current social media platforms still lack adequate screening and reviewing methods to minimize the occurrence of inappropriate content. In this research, I will try to identify the strengths and weaknesses of social media platforms and propose various solutions for their improvement.
