Özet (EN)

This thesis aims to reveal the interaction between the participation of Fenerbahçe Sports Club supporters who are members on a voluntary basis and the reputation of the board, perceived organizational prestige and sports fan identification. First, the conceptual model was created by reviewing the literature. A pilot study was then carried out to determine whether the model was valid for the club's fans and presented the validity of the conceptual model within the results. In the last stage of the study, the supporters of Fenerbahçe Sports Club were reached out and quantitative research data was collected on 3238 individuals. Confirmatory factor analysis was applied to the obtained data, and after the compliance values were obtained, the basic hypotheses of the research were tested with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the established model was acceptable. As a result, it has been proved that the reputation of the board of directors has a statistically significant effect on perceived organizational prestige and sport spectator identification. In addition, the effect of perceived organizational prestige on sport spectator identification was statistically significant.
