Abstract (EN)

Decision making can be defined as, choosing the best option between alternatives. Everyday, we meet different alternatives about different topics and we make a decision by choosing one of these alternatives. Either managers are responsible to make the best decision about the problems that they meet in the course of management process.The decision which is made by managers determines the way of operation and the management process begins with decision making. Some of the researchers accept that the decision making action is synonymous with the management action. Decison making is defined by some researchers as `the heart of management action?. Similarly, the word of `manager? is defined by some resaerchers as `decision maker?.Decisions can made by using different decision making styles. There are lots of different decision making styles that are defined by different researchers in literature. The purpose of this research is to study the decision making styles of some department managers who work at five star hotels in West Antalya Region, by comparing their some demographic variables.
