Analysing the relation between level of importance of managemet values and bussiness performances

This study is prepared for analyzing the relations between job performance and administrative values according to teachers? and directors? opinions who are working in primary education and high schools. In order to determine the administrative values; face-to-face interview method is used in qualitative research methods and interviewed with seven education directors. After obtained analyzed administrative values and literature review values, sound recordings and receiving notes are subjected to qualitative data analysis and according to this analysis the administrative values are transformed to a scale that has thirty nine items. This obtained scale is combined with the job performance scale and applied to 455 teachers and directors who are working in Şahinbey and Şehitkâmil districts in Gaziantep. According to teachers and directors who are joined to this research, the first five administrative values are; respect for human beings, justice, honesty, human relationships and respect merits respectively. The last five administrative values are; authority, risk-taking, frugality, participation and scientific respectively. In the relation between the importance of administrative values and lower level of job performance; between the importance of administrative values and decision, organization, communication, coordination and lower level of evaluation moderate positive relation is obtained. In case at the lower level of planning; low-level positive relation is obtained. Between the importance of administrative values and the relations of education level values; higher values are obtained for postgraduates than training institute graduates. At Ministry of Education in terms of seniority teachers and managers who has seniority between 6-10 years specifies low values with respect to others.
