Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of the waiting time of the chip in the mixer on the mechanical and surface properties of the particleboard was investigated. 40% black pine, 25% oak and 35% poplar wood were used in the production of particleboards. Three layered particleboard were produced using an average of 10% urea formaldehyde (UF). In the production of test board, the mechanical and surface properties of the boards of the different waiting times in the mixer of the chips constituting the middle, upper and lower layers were determined. According to the results obtained; The optimal waiting period in the mixer for the middle layer chips is 50 seconds, and the optimum waiting period in the mixer for the sub-top layer chips is 30 seconds. CL50-SL30 condition, it is determined that the bending resistance is 11.2 N / mm2, screw strength is 728 N, elastic modulus is 2225 N / mm2, perpendicular pulling resistance to the surface is 0.49 N / mm2, board moisture is 6.41%, swelling is 15%, water intake is %85,1.
