Abstract (EN)
The thesis deals with the Hasan Hüseyin Yeşilkaya Residence, which is one of the traditional civil architecture examples in the center of Yozgat. The aim of the study is to document the present condition preparing the measured drawings, to determine the original condition by means of the restitution project, to detect the alterations occurred and to conduct a restoration project with house function in the light of the restitution project. In the scope of the thesis, the urban site of Yozgat, the surroundings of the Hasan Hüseyin Yeşilkaya Residence and its present condition are analyzed and with the help of the comparative studies and historical analyses, the original condition of the residence is examined. Then, in accordance with the restoration project, the residence is to be restorated and the necessary conditions are to be provided in a modern way. For a continuous protection, the residence is to be used as a house in accordance with its original function, and this valuable cultural heritage is to be transferred to the next generations in a healthy way.
