Abstract (EN)

Fuel cells are a popular field for researchers due to their advantages such as uninterrupted operation, not creating harmful waste, taking their source from nature and high energy efficiency. High power and low cost of catalysts used in the anode for fuel cells are desired and studied. In this thesis study, carbon nanotube supported Pd / CNT and PdZn/CNT catalysts were synthesized with the help of NaBH4 reduction method and optimum operating conditions and performances for formic acid electrooxidation were investigated. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoampermetry (CA) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques were used to examine the performance of the prepared catalysts. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction method (XRD), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). A square wave effect was created using CA measurement and a working electrode, and dynamic modeling of the electrochemical measurement system was created with the help of changes in current density. For this, the model coefficients of auto regressive moving average exogenous (ARMAX), auto regressive exogenous (ARX), Box-Jenkins (BJ) and output error (OE) were found by processing them in the System Definition toolbox in the MATLAB program.
