Abstract (EN)
An analysis of the phase-controlled dc-ac inverter is presented. This inverter has apair of switches in each side of the primary and the secondary of the isolationtransformer. The voltage conversion ratio is controlled by the phase differencebetween the two pairs of switches. The switching surge during commutation isreduced by snubber circuits. As a result, the transformer is miniaturized by increasingthe switching frequency. This dc-ac inverter is especially suitable for smalluninterruptible power supply systems.
