Abstract (EN)
In this study, the steel square tube was produced by the high frequency (HF) induction welding technique. In order to produce the steel square tube, it was employed different welding parameters such as welding current, welding voltage, welding speed, coil diameter and position, impeder diameter and position, weld roll position and weld roll pressing. It was evaluated the effect of these welding parameters on mechanical properties and weld performance. It was used for the experimental studies the tensile testing (TS 138 EN 10002-1), the drift expanding testing (TS EN 10234) and the flattening testing on tubes (TS 237 EN 10233). It was investigated the microstructures of welding zone with using the optical microscopy.
