Abstract (EN)
Key Words: Blast furnace, Artificial neural networks, Pig iron temperature Blast furnaces are plants for producing pig iron that is raw material for steel making process. There are some difficulties in mathematical modeling of blast furnace because of it?s complex internal structure. Today, it is very often to use artificial neural networks for such complex problems. In this thesis, the pig iron temperature in a blast furnace is modeled with artificial neural network. In the thesis, information about previous researches that?s been done until today is given. Blast furnace, that is source of the subject, is described. Also data mining is described briefly due to the usage of data mining in my research. Researches about the base methods of this thesis; fuzzy logic and neural networks, have been presented. Finally study of the modeling has been stated.
