Özet (EN)
Sr used in the industrial sector and Sr isotopes resulting from the operation of nuclear power plants can cause negative effects on people and the environment in case of possible leaks or accidents. For this reason, strontium; especially the issue of cleaning water is of great importance for human and environmental health. In removing strontium from water; the adsorption method stands out due to its advantages of being economical, easy to apply, fast and practical. The structure of adsorbents and adsorption conditions are factors that affect adsorption capacity. In this study; it is aimed to remove strontium from water contaminated with Sr released from different sources by adsorption method. Sulfonated polyHIPE was used as adsorbent. Chemical characterization of the adsorbent was examined by FTIR, SEM and EDS analyses. The Sr concentrations in aqueous solutions were measured by ICP-OES. Parameters examined in adsorption; pH value, concentration, and shaking time. Optimum conditions determined for adsorption at room temperature; contact time: 120 min, pH: 8, Sr concentration: 400 ppm. Balance values; It has been applied to Langmuir, Freundlich and D-R isotherms. It was concluded that the study was more suitable for the Langmuir model. Adsorption kinetics Pseudo II. It showed compliance with the first-order adsorption model. pH, concentration and temperature variables of the aqueous solution were investigated using experimental design approach (RSM). The importance value of the model for capacity; finding p<0.05, F=66.62 shows that the model is appropriate. According to ANOVA analysis, R2 and R2 adjusted values were determined as 0.98 and 0.97, respectively, indicating a high compatibility between the observed values and the predicted values. Onto adsorption; The main effects of temperature and concentration were found to be significant, while pH value was found to be insignificant as the main effect. In addition, from bilateral interactions; pH and concentration play a positive role on adsorption; It was determined that there was a severe negative cumulative effect between concentration and temperature. Optimum conditions; while it is pH=6, 200 mg/L and 25 oC for adsorption (100% efficiency) and ; pH=8, 400 mg/L and 25 oC for retention capacity (161,14 mg/g).
